PHILOSOPHY
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
affects victims of assault or violent crime, combat veterans, police
officers and firefighters (EMT's) and victims of natural disasters.
The traumatic injuries inflicted are not always
associated with bandages and bleeding. PTSD effects generations of
family members within the family.
Recognition of PTSD and timely facilitation
of treatment services help to improve quality of life for victims and
their families.
